Jeff Northrop, CISSP, CIPP/US, CIPP/IT is a software developer and IT veteran of over 20 years. He is currently the Chief Technical Officer at the International Association of Privacy Professionals and author of Startup Privacy: The Entrepreneur's Guide to Privacy.
Prior to joining the IAPP, he was Chief Technology Officer at Abistar Group, a market research firm operating in the franchising industry; Director of Technology at Heinemann Publishing; Chief Technology Officer at Wunderkind Studios; and is co-founder of Lore Consulting.
Jeff enjoys speaking to IT professionals and technology entrepreneurs about the importance of the growing privacy movement.
